You will be working as Sales Specialist and will be part of Electrification business for Smart Buildings division based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. In this role you will be reporting to Sales Manager and will be responsible for sales of products or system or services within a designated market in accordance with strategy. Achieving both qualitative and quantitative sales targets in a profitable way: order growth, revenues, profitability, market share and customer satisfaction. Building long term customer relationships and managing resolution to specific customer needs and issues. Identifying and developing sales opportunities.

Your responsibilities

  • Selling products/system s/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for assigned divisions
  • Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full product/system s/ services offering and align to provide a solution
  • Preparing sales plans using company tools. Performing regular status reviews and proposes recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls
  • Creating added value for the customer and ABB and ensures the successful outcome of transactions, contracts and proposals by using effective sales techniques
  • Ensuring efficient marketing activities and value proposition to customers
  • Identifying and drives the development of new market opportunities in the designated market and ensures know-how sharing and cross-collaboration

Your background

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
  • Require 2-3 years of experience
  • Should have experience in marketing and sales role
  • A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines
  • A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
